Tinctures

A tincture is a kind of infusion, in which active medicinal properties of plants are extracted by soaking the plant in alcohol or glycerine, generally for 2-3 weeks.

Methods of Ingestion: Tinctures can be taken directly onto or under the tongue, the latter being a quicker method of absorption but also a more intense experience.

General Dosage Recommendation: 2-3 drops every day for acute use, or 1-2 drops every other day for prolonged use; dosage will vary by ingredient and ailment.
